My interest in yoga began at age five when I would mimic my mother and put myself into various yoga poses. I have to say that I didn’t know what I was doing, but I enjoyed it immensely! I have been practicing yoga for the past 15 years, committing to a higher level of learning and teaching for the last four.

Yoga has changed my life. It has changed who I am, has brought me closer to spirit, awakened something inside of me that I never knew existed. Yoga is my path …. my Dharma and teaching yoga is my way of passing along it’s amazing gift that continually gives to me with each breath I take and each class I teach.

Yoga is a prescription to relieve everyday stress and anxiety that does not come in a bottle. It’s like taking a xanax, but much better as it is holistic and natural and nourishes the soul.

Yoga plays a huge role in changing the way you eat, sit, handle everyday stresses, improving relationships and guiding you in becoming your authentic self. I can’t say enough about yoga and the role yoga plays for me personally, in the community, and in the world.

I love yoga!

I am a teacher who shows up, is compassionate, lives what I preach and one who understands that the students are teachers as well. We are always learning.
